  • Worked as a visiting Faculty Member at Institute of Marketing Management, Mumbai, 1982 – 83

Established Several Companies in different areas as follows:

Electrical and Electronics manufacturing set up, which has now grown to be a co-manufacturer of ANDREW YULE & CO. LTD. (Govt. of India Enterprise) dealing with High Tension Power equipment’s such as 11KV/33KV Capacitor Switches & Sectionalisers etc.

Established Civil Construction using the name of ADITYA CONSTRUCTIONS – This Company has taken up construction of several residential building complexes in prime localities in the city of Calcutta, India

Director – SIGNON ELECTRONICS (P) LTD. (A company manufacturing consumer electronics goods, i.e., Electronics ballast, Adapters for CFL, Electronically controlled switches for motors upto 7.5 H.P., DOL Starters)

Director – WEB-EDGE INFOSYSTEMS (P) LTD. (A company which specializes in software consultancy, web-based software development like constructing web-pages, hoisting them, Intranet set up. This company also undertakes custom software projects for various functional requirements)

I have taken up several Consultancy assignments, which includes financial feasibility study, negotiation with Bank, Cash flow study and recommendation for manufacturing units, recruitment of senior management executives for clients.

Director
Subhadip Mazumdar

Subhadip is the cofounder of Web-Edge Infosystems Pvt. Ltd. Along with Tarun Roy Choudhury. After finishing his graduation in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology in 1996.

Subhadip started working with a leading Management Consultancy firm, following which he did his Post Graduate Diploma in Management Sciences from University of Canberra, Canberra, Australia in January 1999. During his tenure there, Subhadip was also involved in lecturing in Electronics Engineering at the University of Canberra.
With a strong urge to start on his own, Subhadip formed a team of like minded people and thus was born WEB-EDGE. The company has its registered office in Calcutta, where it has its development centres as well.
